Open Scholarship
application for
intensive course on
Environmental
Geomatics at
University of
Florence (April
2019)
The consortium of GEONATURA project
is inviting higher education students
based in the partner countries
(Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom and
the Netherlands) to apply for an
intensive international course on
Geographic Information Systems for
Socio-Environmental Applications
with one week duration to be held in
the premises of U Florence (Italy)
in October 2018. Each selected student
will receive a scholarship that will
provide financial support to costs
associated with travel and
accomodation. The requirement to
apply to the scholarships is to
undertake and conclude successfully an
introductory course on GIS for Socio-
Environmental Applications that will be
organized by each partner university of
GEONATURA consortium in their own
premises during September for
students of their respective countries.
Each partner university will award 10
best students who will conclude their
own introductory courses with the
scholarship for the international
intensive course to be held at the
University of Florence. For applying to the introductory
courses we recommend to contact the
local (country) coordinator of
GEONATURA consortium in our
Contacts section.
